British American Tobacco Cameroon has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The prime function of this role is to handle import and warehouse in Cameroon
The job holder will need to ensure that all relevant parties always adhere to industry standards, local regulations, and established practices.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Business
•Lead and control all warehousing in BAT logistics, ensuring we have the correct warehousing infrastructure in the right place at the right time.
•Ensure availability and accuracy of all in BAT Warehouses
•Develop, run and maintain the inventory control process to protect BAT stock.
•To handle the integrity of the logistics processes, systems and products being handled to ensure Customer satisfaction.
•Track shipments from port to the End Market.
•Ensure the availability and conformity of documentation of each consignment for clearance.
•Daily follow up of Warehouses Activities.
•Ensure the Warehouses Inventories are accurate and on required stock holding policy.
•Ensure FG are stored in the required conditions.
•Ensure the compliance of the Warehouses to the Global Standards.
•Implement and conduct the Local shipment plan to distributors.
•Update the local stock management procedures.
•Handle the 3PL contracts.
Leadership
•Adopt an organizational change approach to help transform logistics performance across the network.
•Maintain a professional and well motivated team, ensuring effective use of resources.
•Take a leadership role in negotiations with third party providers encouraging them to share and support in the BAT logistics strategy and execution.
•To drive a culture that ensures absolute control of the Logistics processes with the necessary effective preventive and corrective measures.
•To ensure a culture of trust and partnership/collaboration is always maintained with the 3PLs.
Management
•To ensure that the appropriate level of insurance is in place for all movement and storage of goods and that all claims are processed effectively.
•To lead and maintain all processes and procedures relating to the efficient and secure storage, movement, and delivery of BAT” s products to the end Customers. Likewise for product returns and recall.
•Third party management and spend.
•Ensure BAT EH&S and other working standards are always observed.
•Handle the relationship/collaboration with 3PL service providers to deliver expected business results through teamwork, partnerships, and collaboration.
•To maintain and issue the Logistics KPI dashboard and performance reviews with continuous improvement plans.
•Ensure all records are maintained and provided as per BAT standard methodology and local regulations.
