At Roche, our Finance Centers of Excellence have led the way in breaking down silos, removing hierarchies, and working in new ways.We are looking for individuals who display the Finance Mindset & Behaviors, and will support a living organism that will leverage the business knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver exceptional results for Finance and Roche.
To further strengthen our network, we’re looking for a candidate who will focus primarily on the following divisional closing and consolidation activities for the Roche Diagnostics Division:

Actively drive and support a broad range of divisional month-end closing and consolidation activities, such as reporting, data validation and reconciliation, preparation of journal entries and presentation of results

Support local affiliates, regions and global functions on complex matters and processes by providing accounting, consolidation and reporting expertise with a system perspective and enterprise mindset

Being a thought partner to our stakeholders. Lean into strategic initiatives and enable delivery of business priorities

Seek and drive opportunities for process improvements. Further contribute in other areas of expertise and develop the eCoE Diagnostics community and its impact across Roche Finance
Who you are
As a member of the eCoE, you will bring a strong technical expertise (relative to your experience) together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for the finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, and leaning in as coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed.You have a passion to pilot new approaches and constructively challenge the status quo.You can tolerate ambiguity. A Bachelor degree is required, and an MA/MBA is preferred.
In addition, you bring the following skills and competencies:

Robust knowledge and practical experience in accounting, consolidation and reporting. FP&A is a plus

End-to-end process thinking with attention to details. Proactive and hands-on. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Business acumen. Good collaboration and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with and support a broad range of stakeholders; from junior controllers to senior leaders

Resilient. Able to meet tight deadlines and to deliver under time pressure. Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to navigate through a complex, broad and diverse organization. Fluency in written and spoken English

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google suite and SAP/SAP BW. Experience with Diagnostics reporting applications (DIS) is a plus.
