Main activities and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth within the CDMO sector for drug products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, business development, and client relationship management, with fluency in English, German and/or French is a bonus. The ideal candidate should also have a strong network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, primarily focusing on developing our drug product business
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, regulatory, and project management) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Your Profile
- Proven (ten plus years) experience in sales/business development within a CDMO or pharmaceutical environment (drug products).
- Good network in Europe within the Pharmaceutical outsourcing community.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory requirements, and supply chain dynamics.
- Strong understand of the CDMO market
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry event within Europe up to 50%
- Fluency in English is a must, ideally additionally German and/or French
