The International Olympic Committee is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement.
A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including the athletes, the National Olympic Committees, the International Federations, Organising Committees for the Olympic Games, the Worldwide Olympic Partners and Olympic broadcast partners. It also collaborates with public and private authorities including the United Nations and other international organisations.
About the role:
As the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) Intern you will be contributing to the development of the Olympic Values Education Programme by participating in educational content creation, contextualization and dissemination. Additionally, you will also be aiding in coordination of OVEP activities and collaborating on the educational projects implemented by the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage and the IOC.
Your responsibilities:
OVEP Content Development

Participates in creation of educational materials for Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, the Olympic Movement stakeholders (National Olympic Committees, Organising Committees of the Olympic Games, Athletes, etc.) and OVEP implementation partners within the OVEP 3.0 scope.

Aids in dissemination of the content by providing access to it via our digital and communication channels.

Compiles feedback and statistics on the existing content for regular updates and improvements.

Sources content for conferences and events as needed by the team: photos, videos, graphics, etc.

Curates and shares speakers content for various events (presentation slides, etc.).
Coordination and monitoring of activities

Contributes to the development of the Olympic Values Education Programme, supporting the Education Manager Senior in ensuring consistent programme development and implementation.

Follows up and updates the educational activities tracker.

Helps organise meetings and determines the practical details of these (e.g. meeting minutes, document management, etc.).

Reports regularly on the progress of various activities.

Documents the experience/knowledge acquired.
Our requirements

University degree or equivalent in education.

Knowledge of curriculum design and development.
-
English or French mother tongue with excellent knowledge of the other language.

Digital savviness.

Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
