For many years, the University of Bern has been strongly committed to promoting science and fostering global research networks, including with partners in Africa. With the Initiative Afrique, the University of Bern has set up a new focus in its Internationalisation Strategy 2030. Intiative Afrique bundles all Africa-related projects at the University of Bern.
Tasks
- Carrying out administrative processing tasks
- Organisation of meetings, academic events and outreach as well as travels
- Taking minutes during meetings
- Supporting the project manager in various communication tasks in cooperation with AKM
- Collaboration with the VRF secretariat, VRI if necessary
Requirements
- Experience in the organisation of academic events and outreach
- Experience in administrative procedures in an academic context
- Experience in taking minutes during meetings and sessions
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of intercultural competence and sensitivity
- Good M365 skills
- Enrollment at the University of Bern
