Process Analytics Technician

Arxada in Visp is looking for a Process Analytics Technician. This role is responsible for the installation and maintenance of process analyzers and systems. You will work closely with the process analytics team, production, EI&C and workshops.
 

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensuring optimum availability of process analysers and their safe and compliant installation and commissioning
• Maintenance of Process Ana installations as an essential part of process safety, emission monitoring and controlled automated plant operation.
• Major tasks include calibration of existing analysers, installation, state-of-the-art analysers
• Responsible for timely and cost-effective project planning and execution
• Responsible for accurate safety and quality relevant PA equipment
   

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completed apprenticeship as a laboratory technician, electronics- or mechatronics technician
• Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
• Preferably experience in process analysis
• Experience in the maintenance of spectrometers and GCs are a plus
• Sense of responsibility and ability to make decisions
• An independent work style and analytical thinking are essential for maintenance activities in the field
