Relevant Experience
- 7years (+) experience working as SAP MDG Techo-Functional consultant
- Should have worked on MDG Implementation. incident and change management.
- Should have worked on SAP MDG and ERP tools.
- Should have hands-on experience of SAP ABAP coding.
- Good understanding of data integration across systems (understanding on IDoc, XML, Data flow elements).
SAP MDG:
- Configuration/Customization experience with MDG BP/Customer/Vendor objects.
- Understanding and familiarity with MDG application framework and various governance API's.
- Hands on with MDG configurations and customizations in areas like data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, Setup business rules and validation, data auto population, replication and MDG error handling.
SAP ECC:
- Should have hands-on experience of SAP ABAP coding.
- Knowledge of data integration between SAP MDG and ECC/S4 system.
- Good understanding of inbound and outbound IDocs and error management.
- Knowledge of master data enrichment via workflows.
- Should be capable of analyzing the failures and data issues faced during master creation and extension in MDG/ECC/S4 system.
General Experience and Prerequisites
- Excellent written and verbal communication around issues, managing escalations.
- Experience in client facing roles.
- A Team player with a collaborative attitude, proactive and ability to work under pressure.
- Good understanding of agile ways of working (DevOps model).
- Certification in SAP MDG is preferred.
Roles and Responsibility
- Act as a MDG Techno/Functional SME for the MDG Project / DevOps squad/data management team in their day to day work. Oversee and support the development of the solution, Validate the functionality as per business needs.
- Working with the squad to help assess incoming ticket and providing appropriate resolutions
- Asses repetitive incident trends, identify root cause and DevOps squad members to find the permeant fix
- As part of Project/development cycle write User Story/Business Requirement Specification, USDD (User Story Design Document)/Technical Specifications and deliver as per the business requirement.
- Act as a partner to the Business for Business Process Query Incidents, Small Change/Projects, Problem Management and define right solution from Design and Cost perspective by aligning with Chief Architect Group (CAG) as and when needed.
- Coordinates with business users and other IT departments to design, develop, implement, enhance and maintain complex solutions.
- Be able to fulfill the role of a SME (subject matter expert),
- Collaborate with different domains (functions) to resolve cross domain issues and developments.

- Graduation in Engineering (Preferred Computer Science)/ Post Graduation with hands on experience working in SAP MDM/MDG and SAP ERP – MM/SD module.
