We are looking for an experienced Web Content Specialist to join our core web team, dedicated to enhancing Omya's digital presence and delivering exceptional online experiences. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of web authoring experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a strong background in web content creation and management.
As part of the Omya web core team, you will work closely with the Product Owner of our Content Management System who leads the development of our website strategy and implementation roadmap. In addition, you will collaborate with the SEO and Analytics Specialist who implements the best on-page and technical SEO practices based on website analytics. In your role you will also align with cross-functional teams on brand messaging and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain web pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring content quality, consistency, and alignment with digital strategies.
- Collaborate with regional teams to localize content for global audiences, supporting multilingual and region-specific needs.
- Support the development of global campaigns, ensuring web content aligns with overarching marketing goals.
- Manage digital assets in AEM, including images, videos, and documents.
- Ensure display and functionality of web content as intended.
- Create training material and deliver training sessions to onboard new AEM users.
- Collaborate with the CMS Product Owner in the implementation of new features and workflows.
- Write and edit web copy to ensure clarity, messaging consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines. Collaborate with other copywriters and ensure compliance with regulatory department.
- Partner with the SEO & Analytics Specialist to analyze site performance metrics and implement optimizations that improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the user experience and content discoverability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in content management and digital strategy, preferably in a B2B or international environment.
- Strong understanding of web content management systems (CMS). Minimum of 2 years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (certification preferred).
- Experience with Digital Asset Management systems.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and basic HTML/CSS troubleshooting.
- Ability to use Canva to produce and adapt images for use on the web. Familiarity with Adobe tools, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development and design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multilingual or localized content for global audiences is a plus.
