MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Manage capital on behalf of the firm and investors
- Implement their strategy to generate performance
- Execute trades in relevant instruments for their portfolio
- Pursue a global macro/interest rate focused strategy
- Actively collaborate with other desks and communicate with management
- Support the growth of their business with additional hires and manage this team
- Conduct ongoing risk analysis of their portfolio as appropriate
WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
Essential
- Significant experience within an established buy side firm
- Proven ability of managing investors capital
- Proven track record
- Experience in managing a team of quantitative researchers/analysts
- Stylistically both directional and relative value strategies could be considered
- Ability to project and explain their investment process
- Deep understanding of macro/rates markets and requisite instruments
- Relevant and appropriate degree
