We seek a qualified, motivated leader to manage and drive dnata Switzerland’s Training Department. In this role, you will ensure all training activities align with dnata’s global strategy, industry standards, and compliance requirements. You’ll drive and lead the implementation of innovative, digital training methods and solutions, support “One dnata” vision, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, collaborating closely with local and Group functions.
Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Design and implement dnata Switzerland's training portfolio, balancing traditional and digital methods, and drive innovation in training delivery aligned with global standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, external providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure training compliance and optimize plans and content with HR and Planning.
- Training Governance: Oversee On-the-Job Training, ensuring quality and consistency in materials, methods, and assessments according to dnata standards.
- Efficiency & KPIs: Manage training delivery and slot allocation, track KPIs to assess training effectiveness, and conduct audits for continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Technology: Lead improvements in Learning Management and Training Programs, supporting digital solutions and developing a technology roadmap for training systems.
- Team Leadership: Develop the Training team and operational trainers through regular reviews, feedback, and development plans, providing hands-on support as needed.
- Documentation Management: Maintain compliant training records, manage inventory, and oversee course catalog design within ERP and LMS systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Work with Safety to integrate incident findings into training, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and supporting audits and risk assessments.
- Commercial Opportunities: Develop and expand commercial training offerings for external partners, contributing to revenue growth.
- Industry Benchmarking: Stay informed on industry standards to keep dnata’s training competitive and effective, utilizing KPIs for continuous assessment.
Your profile:
- Strong communication skills, high personal culture and positive mindset
- Several years in a senior training leadership role, ideally in an airline, ground handling, or safety-sensitive environment
- Understanding of airline/ground handling regulations and audits will be an advantage
- Proven experience in implementing digital training solutions
- Fluency in English and either French or German
- At ease with Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel , Word, PowerPoint)
- Customer focus and stakeholder management
