System Verification Engineer

In the context of the carve out of the Ypsomed Diabetes Care AG to form an independent Medtech company, specializing in Diabetes treatment through advanced insulin pump systems, we are looking to strengthen the Product Verification department in the first few months in Solothurn and from autumn in our new offices in Burgdorf (within walking distance of the railway station) as a

System Verification Engineer | 80 - 100%

Your main tasks

• Test automation solution build-up, including needed documentation framework and evidence definitions
• Work in Solution and Services Lab , to ensure device safety , Interoperability , Security
• Test strategy definition for the sub/system under verification
• Sub-system level verification tasks and system verification tasks, focusing on content testing and evaluating the right test methodologies.
• Managing risk regarding verification of the product. Evaluates and place technological risks to the defined safety or business risks.
• Works in coordination with software test engineers to ensure the readiness of the verification environments

Your profile

• 2-5 years of work experience in multiple medical device testing.
• Proven programming and development experience in Java test framework / Python using Behavior Driven Development
• Experience with IoT testing
• Integration of CI/CD testing using Azure pipelines
• Experience with test automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Appium , API services
• Knowledge of Cyber Security testing
• Degree from technical college or university (e.g. Bachelor): computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
