Clinical Specialist PVI Suisse Romandie (w/m/d)

BIOTRONIK Schweiz AG, located in Baar, Canton of Zug, is the sales subsidiary of BIOTRONIK in Switzerland. For our existing Vascular Intervention Team we are looking for an additional team member to strengthen the team in the Suiss Romandie as of April 2025 reporting to the Director VI.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Specialist to join our team in the field of peripheral vascular interventions. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise and support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) across Swiss Romandie, ensuring the successful adoption and utilization of our PVI product portfolio. You will play a critical role in advancing regional healthcare standards while strengthening our position as a leader in MedTech innovation and ensuring optimal market penetration of our PVI portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Clinical Support:
- Conduct promotional activities in the field to sell, develop, and retain (new) business and build high trust relationships. This may include work with current accounts and customers where product adoption has not yet been established
- Provide in-depth clinical support during vascular intervention procedures (e.g., angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy) across the Swiss Romandie
- Partner with physicians and Cath lab staff to ensure proper device usage and optimal outcomes in diverse settings
- Serve as the regional point of contact for clinicians, offering hands-on training and troubleshooting when required
Regional Training & Education:
- Deliver tailored training programs and workshops for HCPs in the region, considering local clinical practices and regulations
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, in-service trainings, and post-market education sessions
Regional Relationship Building:
- Identify growth opportunities and develop key accounts
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, and healthcare administrators within the region
- Represent the company at regional medical conferences, exhibitions, and professional events to promote the product portfolio and company expertise
Compliance & Reporting:
- Document and report clinical cases, product performance, and adverse events in compliance with regional regulatory requirements and company policies
- Stay informed about regional healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity in peripheral vascular intervention
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Engineering, biomedical sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years of clinical experience in peripheral vascular intervention (e.g., Cath lab, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery) and/or experience with a medical device company
- Familiarity with vascular intervention devices (balloons, stents, guidewires) and regional healthcare systems is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to tailor communication and training to diverse audiences across the region
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with relevant stakeholders
- Knowledge of regional medical device regulations and healthcare system dynamics. Must have the demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable regulatory and company operating procedures, processes, policies and rules
- Ability to work well independently as well as a member of an integrated team
- Flexible and reliable
- Fluency in French and English
- Demonstrated computer skills to perform analysis, documentation and presentation activities
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within the region (e.g., 70–80% travel).
- Valid driver’s license and work authorization in Switzerland
