The Indexed Equities team manages mandates for sophisticated and demanding institutional clients, overseeing index-tracking investment funds across Swiss and international equities.
Your role
- Preparing data related to accounts as well as benchmarks for indexed management.
- Responding to and monitoring of corporate actions.
- Managing and overseeing accounts.
- Independently managing currency hedging for indexed funds and portfolios.
- Preparing reporting comments for funds and mandates.
- Simulating portfolios for new clients.
- Helping to enhance the index management process and contributing to the development of necessary tools for the team.
Your profile
- University degree (preferably in Finance, Information Technology or Econometrics), or qualification deemed equivalent.
- AZEK CIIA or CFA certification or equivalent.
- At least four years’ experience in index or quantitative portfolio management.
- Experience of implementing and managing currency hedging for equity portfolios.
- Expertise with equity portfolio optimizer software such as Axioma or Apt.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and relational databases query (SQL) would be a plus.
- Excellent command of French and English; German would be an asset.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
