Senior Windows System Engineer Description
We are looking for a Windows System Engineer to strengthen our engineering unit in Zürich to support our banking client.

Responsibilities
- Implement and administer on prem or hybrid workloads including identity management, security, migration, monitoring, high availability, networking and memory
- Cooperate closely with the client’s development team and other stakeholders
- Support testing in test environments for planned software releases
- Handle complex challenges using strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Integrate 3rd party products into the client’s ecosystem
Requirements
- High Windows Server administration skills (e.g. MCSE certification) using, for example, the Admin Center, Scripting Host or PowerShell scripts
- Good knowledge of Apache Tomcat on Windows
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage a diverse workload effectively in a highly demanding environment
- Ability to work reliable in a collaborative, international team
- Ability to contribute to software architecture documents, technical manuals
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Fluency in German
- Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Windows Technologies and SQL Server (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with test execution and test management fundamentals
- Experience integrating PBI reporting solutions to core .NET applications
- Experience SQL Server, query language, stored procedures and design/architectural patterns
- Experience with Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture
