We are excited to announce an opportunity to be part of our dynamic team working on the Event Staff Management System (ESMS), a critical platform that streamlines event staff registration and logistics for internal and external stakeholders. As we advance the ESMS roadmap, we are looking for a motivated, proactive, and user-focused systems lead with strong product management skills to ensure the smooth operation, enhancement, and continuous growth of the ESMS platform.
The selected candidate will play a key role in product management, application and user support, aligning the platform with business goals while delivering exceptional user experiences. The Event Staff Systems Lead will work closely with event and business teams, external service providers, IT, and digital success teams to develop, implement, and maintain the ESMS platform.
Responsibilities
Product Management

Gather and refine user requirements, track feature requests, and maintain user stories.

Prioritize backlog and collaborate with technical and business teams to clarify needs.

Provide data-driven insights to improve system usability and workflows.

Continuously refine processes to enhance platform performance and reliability.

Lead product updates and ensure alignment with business priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Continuously improve system processes and performance to align with business priorities and enhance reliability.
System Support and Maintenance

Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate fixes with vendors.

Log and track issues and feedback, collaborating with stakeholders for long-term solutions.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system through regular reviews and maintenance

Maintain user access security including conducting regular security audits to ensure that security assignments remain relevant.

Update system data and parameters to align with the evolving needs of events and business requirements.
User Support

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues promptly, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders as necessary.

Log and track issues and feedback, implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

Develop and update comprehensive user documentation and training materials.

Conduct regular user training sessions to enhance system adoption and operational efficiency.

Provide second-level support and work to elevate the capabilities of the first-level support team.
Preferred Requirements and Experience

Degree in a technical, digital, or relevant field.

5-7 years’ experience in product management or application management.

Understanding of technical infrastructure, integrations and basic coding practices

Experience with event technology solutions or event management is a plust.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com, and ITIL best practices is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Team player who enjoys working in a highly dynamic setting with a matrix environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
