Job Description
Within the Solution Architecture and Engineering IT organization we are looking for an experienced engineer to drive the evolution of our internally developed Investor Portal solution. The role will be a key contributor in shaping (and implementing) the technical and (in collaboration with the different counterparts) functional evolution of the platform. The role will also be the key owner on the technical aspects of the application, including the first contact point for operational matters.
In this role, you will:

take ownership as technical application / product owner of the Investor Portal solution, including the management of the entire lifecycle of the solution (from requirements analysis/definition to development, testing, release management, maintenance and incident resolution);

devise and drive the implementation of the technical / technology changes within the platform;

drive the evolution of the platform from a functional perspective in close collaboration with the business application owner (BAO) and the stakeholders;
-
ensure technical sustainability and improvements as well as making sure that risk and security topics are highly prioritized in the product roadmap;

contribute hands-on to the delivery of changes / improvements;

constantly assess and evaluate software architectures, technologies, methods, tools, and strategies for improving efficiency and reusability.
Requirements

Degree in Information Technology or similar;
-
Proven experience as Solution Architect and/or Lead Software Engineer, experience in designing and developing enterprise software ecosystems;

Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure) and cloud-native software design. Proven experience in operating / supporting such solutions;

Experience in the software development lifecycle and in-depth understanding of (enterprise) software engineering practices and processes (e.g., quality assurance practices, DevOps, architecture reviews);

Proactive and motivated to learn new topics, open to collaborate across teams and with the stakeholders to push the sustainable evolution of a software product;

Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and implement change;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a broad range of audiences;

Extensive knowledge in C# and React (and possibly experience with UX design) is of advantage;

Experience in financial services and / or asset management is of advantage;

Excellent English oral and written communication skills, German is a plus.
