The opportunity
We are looking for a test engineer for our accredited high voltage laboratory. In this exciting and challenging position, you will lead dielectric development testing and type testing in our high-voltage laboratory. You will coordinate the work of the laboratory technicians and trainees assigned to you and ensure that quotations are prepared promptly, tests are planned realistically, carried out correctly and fully documented. How you’ll make an impact

Planning of tests and resources as well as definition of test programs and specifications, taking into account current international test standards and customer specifications

Design and review of test circuits and test arrangements as well as selection of suitable measuring equipment

Carrying out dielectric development and type tests and evaluating the test results

Complete and conscientious documentation of test results

Timely and efficient test report preparation

Documentation of laboratory services to be invoiced

Further development of the laboratory test equipment

Continuous improvement of testing and work processes in the team

Planning and support for maintenance and calibration
Your background
-
Completed studies in electrical/energy engineering or comparable (FH, University)

First professional experience or apprenticeship in the high voltage field is an advantage

Familiarity with various measuring equipment / techniques
