IT Business Analyst 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The Opportunity 

Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements for application solutions.  

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, validate, and estimate efforts for solutions that meet business objectives and provide value. This role involves managing the end-to-end requirements process, developing process flow diagrams, and identifying opportunities for improvement and automation. You will also serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment on goals, scope, and priorities. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for application solutions 

• Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for IT delivery teams 

• Develop process flow diagrams and business process models to aid the understanding of application functionality 

• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation 

• Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment on goals, scope, and priorities.  

• Create and maintain relevant project documentation. Assist project teams in planning and implementing new application solutions 

• Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria and create user manuals, training materials, and documentation to support end users and technical teams 

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to business applications based on user feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices 

Your Background 

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience in a technical Business Analyst role 

• ITIL Foundation Certification is mandatory, certification in Business Analysis is beneficial  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex environments 

• Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering processes and their relationship to IT solutions is preferred 

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities 

• Outstanding communicator who can effectively interact with technical teams and business stakeholders at all levels 

• Fluent in English, German is a big plus
