Wishing to increase the proportion of women in academic leadership positions, the university particularly encourages applications from women.</h3><br><br><p><div><b>Your position</b></div><br>We are looking for a versatile person with an excellent track record in Slavic literary studies with a focus on cultural studies.<ul><li>The professor to be appointed heads the Subject Area of Slavic Studies, promotes its future-oriented cultural studies approach (including in the fields of film studies and visual media of Eastern Europe) and has a research focus on intercultural, transnational, social and contemporary issues.</li><li>The professorship is responsible for undergraduate teaching in the fields of Slavic Studies (MA and PhD) and Eastern European Cultures (BA) broadly conceived and contributes to interdepartmental study programmes (e.g. BA degree Eastern European Studies).</li><li>The professor cooperates closely in research and teaching with other subject areas within the interphilological comparative structure of the Department. Among other things, the future colleague is expected to contribute to the field of general literary studies, the interdisciplinary master's degree programme in literary studies and the PhD programme in literary studies.</li></ul><ul><li>The professor cooperates closely with other Departments within the Faculty in research and teaching.
