<p>Celeroton TurboCell is a Swiss based fast-growing technology leader developing and manufacturing high-speed turbo compressors and drive systems using gas bearings for fuel cell applications. The company is based in Volketswil and sells its products worldwide for a broad range of applications including automotive, stationary, marine and aerospace industry.</p><p>To support our on-going growth, we are looking to strengthen our R&D team.</p>
Your tasks:
<ul><li>Conception, calculation and design of gas bearings</li><li>Consideration and integration of boundary conditions given by adjoining disciplines of rotor dynamics, electrical machinery, aerodynamics, thermal system behavior and production</li><li>Continuous improvement of gas bearing design and simulation tool chain</li><li>Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams with other development engineers, production and quality as well as suppliers within internal and external projects</li><li>Supporting function during commissioning and experimental verification of new gas bearing designs</li></ul>
Our requirements:
<ul><li>Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (ETH/UNI/FH) or comparable education <br></li><li>Experience in the design of gas bearings, rotor dynamics and/or system modelling of high-speed rotor designs</li><li>Practical experience in Matlab and CAD (e.g. Autodesk Inventor) is a plus</li><li>Joy in solving technically challenging problems with an interdisciplinary character, also over a longer period of time <br></li><li>Structured, target-oriented and precise way of working on technical problems</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit and creativity</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken</li><li>Good knowledge of German is a strong plus</li></ul>
