We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our security team in analyzing and strengthening our in-house security framework. This internship offers an opportunity to work with a small team of experienced developers, use advanced reverse engineering tools, and apply a hacker’s mindset to identify potential vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in software security and a passion for breaking/hacking code.
Your tasks
- Analyze the existing security framework to identify potential weak points
- Propose and utilize different reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra to uncover software vulnerabilities
- Develop and apply various techniques that a hacker might use to reverse engineer our software and propose solutions how to protect from them
- Collaborate with a team of experienced developers to evaluate and improve security mechanisms
- Design a structured testing protocol to minimize the risk of backdoors and enhance overall security
Your profile
- Proficient in C++ with a strong understanding of template technology
- Experience with debuggers and code analysis tools
- Knowledge of assembly language or a willingness to learn
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to devise unconventional solutions
- Good knowledge of English required. German would be a plus

This role is based in Zurich. The duration at 100% workload is 6 months. The minimum workload is 80%, extending the duration accordingly.
