The Institutional Governance (IG) team manages several global C-suite communities, most notably the Community of Chief Legal Officers and the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative Community, focusing on developing and scaling impact across regions and industries. Our access to global governance leaders in the private and public sectors and the pivotal role of governance in shaping industries, technology and Innovation positions the IG team to collaborate and shape innovative projects that create positive change around a few core pillars: the rule of law, corporate governance, and anti-corruption and co-curate future governance models. In addition to collaborating with external stakeholders, we partner with our centre, business and industry colleagues to ensure a unified approach is developed.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and detail-oriented lead to support the efficient execution of our diverse initiatives and ensure seamless operational processes. The lead will be instrumental in developing thought leadership and detailed project plans. This role is crucial in driving the success of our projects by ensuring that all operational aspects are well-coordinated and executed to the highest standards. The Lead will work closely with various teams to streamline processes, manage resources, and support implementing key initiatives.

Reporting lines & interactions

The Lead for operations and Initiatives will report to the Manager for communities and Initiatives and will work closely with the Centre Initiative and Community Leads.  

Main responsibilities

Operational Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of various initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Forum's overarching goals and objectives.
• Design and implement streamlined operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and successful execution of initiatives.

Project Coordination

• Establish and drive comprehensive project strategies, defining scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables to the required quality standards
• Monitor project performance, anticipate risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
• Deliver strategic insights and updates to senior stakeholders, fostering alignment and informed decision-making.

Content Development

• Draft high-quality content, including reports, presentations, updates, and other materials that support operational and project goals.
• Ensure all written materials are clear, concise, and aligned with the Forum's tone, style, and objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to drive collaboration and secure support for initiatives.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project objectives, deliverables, and expectations.

Preferred requirements and experience

• Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in operations management, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a global or international organization is a plus.
