Data Engineer with focus on Production Control 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The Opportunity

As a Data Engineer, you will join the Product Engineering BiMOS team. Based in Lenzburg, Switzerland, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our high-power semiconductor production, research & development, and IT departments. Your responsibility will include defining and developing advanced process control for our semiconductor production, from frontend to backend.
 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement strategies for utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) in frontend semiconductor production

• Lead the implementation of new SPC software, overseeing the process from specification to deployment and visualization in production

• Maintain and enhance existing SPC and FDC databases and programs, ensuring data accessibility for other engineers

• Drive and manage improvement projects leveraging SPC and FDC data, and conduct training sessions

• Create and modify routers for new or updated products within our MES system
   

Your Background

• Master's degree in physics, production engineering, data engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience in applying SPC and FDC within a production environment

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar

• Experience with software solutions including Access and SAP

• Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis

• Ability to thrive in an international environment with excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken (level B2/C1)
