The Position
About the position
As the IT Project Manager you will take the helm in driving innovative IT projects to enhance operational efficiency and support our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical and diagnostics products. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and delivering transformative solutions to support our mission of advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology. Your Key Responsibilities:

Creating a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Identifying tasks, allocate resources, and create a schedule to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

Overseeing the project team, assigning roles and responsibilities, and ensuring effective collaboration. Facilitating communication, encouraging teamwork, and providing guidance to team members to ensure they understand their tasks and deadlines.

Identifying project stakeholders, establishing effective communication channels, and managing their expectations.

Proactively identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact on the project. This includes conducting risk assessments, creating contingency plans, and monitoring risks throughout the project.

Working with relevant stakeholders to define and manage the project budget. Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure that the project is delivered within the allocated budget.

Developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting quality reviews, and addressing any deficiencies to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Monitoring project progress, track milestones, and report on the status to stakeholders.

Providing regular updates on project performance, identify any deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as needed.

Assessing change requests, evaluating their impact on the project, and implementing approved changes while minimizing disruption.

Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and communication records ensuring those are organized, up to date, and easily accessible to the project team and stakeholders. Overseeing the project closure process, including conducting post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned, and archiving project documentation.
Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience)

8+ years of relevant experience as a project manager with a track record of delivering business critical projects successfully

PMP certification and Proficiency in ITIL will be an asset

Experience in Computer Systems Validation (CSV)

Awareness of regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, FDA CFR Part 11 will be an asset

Experience in highly regulated industry, preferably Life Sciences

Nice to have: Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Have a good understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively manage projects

Have exceptional organizational skills to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources effectively

Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset
