Position description
- Acquire, carry out and manage R&D projects in quantitative economic analysis, economic modelling and data management.
- Actively participate in the development of innovative analytical tools to address current economic challenges (financial markets, risk management, public policy, etc.).
- Collaborate with regional, national and international companies, public institutions and universities to develop high-impact projects.
- Establish partnerships with companies, universities and partner schools at regional, national and international levels.
- Disseminate scientific results through articles and presentations at conferences.
- Teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels at the School of Management with a focus on econometrics, quantitative analysis, applied macroeconomics and related disciplines.
Selection criteria
- PhD or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in applied research and service provision in an economic or academic context.
- Strong track record in securing and managing government-funded projects (Innosuisse, Innotour, SNSF, NPR, Interreg, Horizon Europe, etc.).
- Experience in teaching at university level and in executing projects with SMEs and large companies.
- Strong interest in teaching at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels and in supervising students in different learning environments.
- Strong interest in innovation, good leadership skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in French or German with very good knowledge of English.
