Develop and implement master data governance strategies, policies, and frameworks.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple financial systems.
Establish and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
Oversee the full master data lifecycle, including creation, maintenance, validation, and retirement.
Mentor data stewards across various business units to ensure best practices.
Act as the Finance focal point for IT regarding system projects and enhancements.
Provide stewardship over financial systems, including SAP, ERP, analytics, and reporting tools.
Lead system maintenance, upgrades, and change management initiatives.
Assist with prioritization of IT projects aligned with business objectives.
Support finance teams with system administration and troubleshooting.
Work with finance, IT, and business teams to define system requirements and implement enhancements.
Lead change management processes and assess accounting/finance impacts.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, project plans, and business process guidelines.
5-7 years of experience in data management, governance, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, practices, and tools.
Hands-on experience managing master data (e.g., customer, vendor, material) within SAP ECC or other major ERP platforms.
Proficiency in data quality principles, governance tools, and data stewardship best practices.
Basic project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with SAP MDG, Informatica, or other MDM tools.
Financial reporting, FP&A, and analytics experience.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance regulations.
Experience in industries like Manufacturing, Finance, Oil & Gas, or Energy.
Certifications in Data Governance (DAMA, CDMP) or SAP.
Previous experience in a large professional services firm.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to align teams with business goals and champion continuous improvement.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret data trends and implement governance best practices.
Keen attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
