Your mission

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Management of the daily accounting tasks, such as bookings, payments, and billing of services rendered and recharges, in a timely and accurate manner by collaborating with different apartments and accounts payable
  • Ensures that payments are collected on time and the accounts receivables ledger is current. This involves:
  • Regular reviews of the ledger
  • Proactively collecting payments
  • Researching and resolving outstanding discrepancies
  • Investigating circumstances for non-payment
  • Ensures that the ageing report and all related balance sheet accounts are current while researching and resolving discrepancies and ensuring periodical closings
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including reconciliations and analysis, in collaboration with the Finance Manager
  • Complies with VAT and other tax filing requirements and serves as the main contact for public authorities
  • Prepares miscellaneous financial reporting for internal use

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily payroll department operational functions to ensure accurate and timely data entry in the payroll system.
  • Manages the entire payroll process, including:
  • Accurate and timely payroll runs
  • Compliance with local tax and social insurance regulations
  • Communicate payroll changes to relevant third parties
  • Ensures all employee lifecycle changes impacting payroll are processed correctly, such as new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Prepares and analyses payroll reports for Finance and HR
  • Acts as the primary contact for payroll-related queries and audits
  • Ensures continuous improvement and compliance with payroll procedures and systems

Your skills and professional experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing
  • Commercial or equivalent degree
  • Proven experience in payroll and current knowledge of payroll procedures and related social insurance regulations
  • Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel as well as MS Dynamics (NAV or BC)
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Fluency in German is required, proficiency in English is also essential, and knowledge of French is an added advantage
  • Embrace challenges and seek to learn, improve, and apply knowledge daily.
  • Ability to juggle and manage multiple competing priorities and adjust priorities regularly
  • IT Affinity is required, and experience in digitalization is preferred
