About the job:

Smood is looking for a talented Communication Manager who will be in charge of two distinct priorities. The first one is to develop the communication with Smood's employed riders across 20+ cities. This role aims to keep the fleet informed of the latest changes and company priorities so that the riders feel part of a team and have all the information they need to perform. The aim is also to gather feedback from drivers across the cities, and translate this into improvements for them. The second priority audience are Smood’s key restaurant partners. The goal is to maintain and develop relationships with our thousands of partners, and keep them informed of any new updates regarding our company, our platforms, our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership over the content calendar & ongoing content generation (including visual & tonality guidelines, content pillars with themes & topics)
  • Establish and maintain communications plans (newsletters, emailers, push notifications, blog posts, social media, etc.)
  • Lead the content distribution across different owned and earned channels
  • Monitoring of technological, organisational and process changes in the company, then synthesis and communication with the fleet, organisation of meeting events with delivery personnel and office staff
  • Establishment of an employee satisfaction metric, reporting of the situation per city to management, synthesis and feedback.
  • Developing training materials for drivers or partners (ie.: webinars)
  • Visiting cities and meeting delivery people and partners

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in communications or marketing, preferably with CRM and Marketing automation experience
  • Fluency in French and English required, German and/or Italian a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outgoing, sociable person with great empathy and ability to listen to people
  • Initiative and creativity
  • High degree of autonomy
  • Experience in a startup / tech company preferred
