BÜHLMANN Laboratories AG, a private equity-backed company, is a high growth production and trading company in the life sciences sector based in Schönenbuch, canton of Basel-Landschaft. We have over the past 40 years developed leading in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products, which are trusted by hospitals and private medical laboratories world-wide. We employ over 150 professionals of which 130 at Schönenbuch.
In order to strengthen our Finance Team, we are seeking to fill a newly created position. The role is available for an immediate start or as per mutual convenience.
Your Responsibilities
Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights
Develop and maintain financial models. Lead forecasting and budgeting processes
Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, including variance analysis
Support month-end and year-end close processes in Swiss entity and six international subsidiaries
Assist in the preparation of management presentations and board reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and support business initiatives, including implementation of new ERP system (MS Dynamics 365)
Book debtor payments Switzerland and Austria and send reminders to customers
Control and book supplier invoices, execute e-banking and DTA payments
Completed Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Swiss Certified Accountant (Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance, Fachmann/Fachfrau Finanz- und Rechnungswesen mit eidg. Fachausweis)
At least 4 years of experience in financial modelling, P&L management and analysis. Experience in Audit / Transaction services is advantageous
Detail-oriented, ability to dive into details, understand issue, take initiative to solve
Advanced Excel skills. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and Power BI is a plus
Fluent in German and English is a must
Discreet, solution-oriented, team player with hands-on mentality
The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, creating financial models and preparing reports to support business decisions.You will collaborate with various departments to provide insights that drive strategic planning and performance improvement
