The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including athletes, National Olympic Committees (NOCs), International Sports Federations (IFs), Organising Committees for the Olympic Games (OCOGs), Worldwide Olympic Partners, and Media Rights-Holders. It also works with public and private authorities, including the United Nations and other international organisations.

As a Research & Insights Manager, you will build a deep understanding and knowledge of Olympic brand, audiences adn market trends. You will also be collaborating with external and internal partners to produce best-in-class consumer research projects. Additionally, you will be contributing to the IOC's data-driven strategy and decision-making through delivery of impactful reports, dashboards and presentations.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Design, manage and execute quantitative and qualitative consumer research projects, identify relevant market trends and consumer behaviours, and translate insights into actionable recommendations;

Deliver impactful reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate key information and results;

Increase the level of storytelling and deliver clear actionable insights on key issues and opportunities, to inform meaningful decision-making;

Play a pivotal role in shaping the Olympic brand and marketing strategies by conducting comprehensive consumer and market research projects to strengthen brand positioning and engagement;

Be instrumental in the design and execution of the Games-time research programmes, in particular the delivery of the athlete, spectator and Olympic fan research projects;

Support the Research & Insights team in implementing post-Games and in-between-Games consumer-, brand-and sponsor-related studies, ensuring that research needs are met;

Support people-centric product development by gathering input and feedback from users through usability testing, user research and customer service, and by translating this into actionable insights;

Manage partner agencies to ensure the timely delivery of the projects, as well as the relevance, accuracy and alignment of the deliverables with the IOC’s needs and standards;

Produce deep-dive reports, combining various sources of information, on specific themes or campaigns;

Answer information requests about specific topics in a timely manner;

Enable the Research & Insights team to operate as a competency centre for the whole organisation, and become a strategic partner for the Marketing, Digital and Olympic Games teams, amongst others.
In order to be eligible for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Significant business experience in consumer research, business intelligence or marketing;

University master’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or a related field;

Work experience in an international, multicultural and multilingual environment;

Excellent knowledge and command of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Ease with data visualisation software products such as Power BI;

English fluency, French is plus.

Excellent communicator and proven interpersonal skills. This includes clear presentation skills, and being comfortable briefing senior stakeholders and management;

Ability to interpret data to help inform content production, audience development and business decisions;

Strong team spirit and ability to interact constructively with people at all levels and from diverse cultures;

Autonomy and sense of priorities, with flexibility and ability to deal with the unexpected;

Strong organisational skills with ability to consistently meet deadlines;
