What you will do:

• Support the NGLs (Natural gas liquids) Trading desk in building predictive models based data analysis and detected trends, and help building detailed analysis for key NGL (natural gas liquids) trading hubs/countries with particular focus on the US, China and Middle East


• Aggregate and automate global waterborne LPG shipping data and monitor major export/import terminals in real time


• Learn the physical and financial commodity deal cycle from origination to execution, shipping operations and risk management


• Understand and learn techniques for trading financial instruments, forward curves, assessing risk appetite, entry and exit strategy and market drivers


• Assist traders in preparing analysis for physical cargo tenders and recommend optimal hedging strategies for these


• Liaise with risk management to reconcile the daily position and PnL and learn about VaR models


• Help expanding the data universe by adding new data

What you bring & who you are:

• You have great numerical skills and high attention to detail, as well as innovative thinking and problem-solving attitude


• You own the ability to dissect, structure and solve complex tasks


• You have strong coding and database skills as well as good command of MS Office, especially Excel


• You are a team player with great communication skills and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment


• You are fluent in English, Chinese is considered as an advantage
