Complete an internship project at SOPHiA GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine, joining the Marketing Team as an Events Coordinator Intern. 

Your mission: 

As an Events Coordinator Intern, you will play a key role in organizing high-impact events and optimizing supplier management processes. As an intern, you’ll take on both a main project and a secondary project, allowing you to develop valuable skills and make a meaningful impact. 

You will be involved in: 

 

🌟 Main Project: Event Organization (Example: ESPT 2025) 

  • Take full ownership of planning, executing, and managing an event from start to finish. 
  • Partner with marketing, sales, product management, and brand design teams to develop pre/during/post-event strategies. 
  • Ensure seamless event logistics, compliance, procurement, invoices, design and registrations. 

🌟 Secondary Project: Supplier Management Audit 

  • Conduct an audit of the current supplier management processes. 
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to enhance effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate with suppliers and maintain strong relationships. 

Main Tasks: 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, focusing on logistics, compliance, procurement, invoices, and registrations.  
  • Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely and structured manner. 
  • Support the Events Team with the organization of local and regional Tier 3 events. 
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manage relationships, and propose process improvements. 
  • Audit and analyze current marketing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. 

 

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). 
  • Ability to quickly learn  
  • Curiosity for new software platforms 
  • Basic project management skills. 
  • Experience with CRM tools is a plus (For example: Salesforce). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • A true team player, comfortable working cross-functionally. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. 
  • Good command of English 
  • Knowledge of any other language is a plus
