Essential Accountabilities:
- Build and deploy a comprehensive strategy to meet K-C’s voluntary and mandatory reporting needs, per relevant reporting standards and guidelines, including an ESG reporting roadmap.
- Translate the sustainability reporting/disclosures strategy in into project plans and initiatives, ensure clear accountabilities and delivery of results.
- Lead end-to-end development of annual Sustainability Report, leveraging other corporate publications, regulatory filings and various sustainability communications.
- Ensure compliance with regional/country regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. EU CSRD, other ISSB activations).
- Manage ESG ratings and rankings performance through a standardized process, analyzing performance trends and driving improvements in alignment with relevant functional teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to stakeholder inquiries, surveys and questionnaires.
- Partner with Communications and Sustainability teams to advance internal and external communications to engage and activate key stakeholders.
- Engage, align and lead cross functional teams of all parts and levels of the organization, to meet reporting and disclosure requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, CSR Communications or another related field.
- (Preferred) Advanced degree or JD
- (Preferred) PMP Certification; SEA Certification and/or extensive experience with GRI-related disclosures.
- 7plus years of progressive experience in ESG and/or CSR reporting and disclosures, preferably in a CPG company.
- Previous experience with sustainability or corporate reporting is required.
- Strong complex, global project management skills
- Superior attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and strong organizational management skills to deliver high quality deliverables in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Previous experience with change management in a highly networked organization.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information to provide recommendations that support strategic decision making.
- Proven ability to interpret the broader ESG landscape to shape strategy while possessing the detail and process orientation to drive data integrity, consistency and governance.
- Possesses understanding of global ESG regulatory landscape, frameworks and ratings.
- Experience integrating and driving adoption of new/preferred technology solutions
- Ability to lead, inspire, collaborate and influence the supply chain and wider organization.
- Proven track record if successful project management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to dialogue, problem solve and interact effectively at all levels.
- A high degree of initiative and self-coordination with a proven track record of high performance.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization (including with senior leader) and ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and provide subject matter expertise to appropriately advise leaders
- Ability to travel for business needs (up to 10%).
