We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organizational and technical skills for the position of Data Analytics Manager. You will play a critical role working on cutting edge of Data Engineering and analytics, leveraging predictive models, machine learning and generative AI to drive business insights and facilitating informed decision-making and help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale data-driven initiatives.
About The Role
- Effectively communicate across various levels, including Executives, and functions within the global organization
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with ability to drive projects/tasks to delivering value
- Engage with stakeholders, business analysts and project team to understand the data requirements.
- Design analytical frameworks to provide insights into a business problem.
- Explore and visualize multiple data sets to understand data available and prepare data for problem solving.
- Design database models (if a data mart or operational data store is required to aggregate data for modeling).
- Design visualizations and build dashboards in Tableau and/or PowerBI. Extract business insights from the data and models.
- Present results to stakeholders (and tell stories using data) using power point and/or dashboards.
About You
You're a fit for the Data Analytics Manager if your background includes:
- 12+ years of corporate experience
- Hands-on experience in developing BI OLAP Semantic data models for large scale data warehouse/data Lake – Snowflake using PowerBI Fabric, Atscale.
- Map the data journey from operational system sources through any transformations in transit to its delivery into enterprise repositories (Warehouse, Data Lake, Master Data, etc.)
- Expertise in BI & data architecture design, recommendations and implementation best practices and continuous optimization.
- Experience in design enablement with experience in Cloud Technologies, Data Lake/Data Warehousing on cloud, Visualization and Analytics.
- Analytical aptitude while able to maintain a broader perspective, identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks with a high attention to detail, even in the face of ambiguity and environmental barriers.
- Skilled in navigating complex organizations, systems, and processes and building collaborative relationships.
