Join MSC Cruises, a global leader in the cruise industry, as a Corporate Communications Senior Specialist at our Geneva headquarters. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Communications, you’ll work with the team to enhance and innovate our global communications practices. This role focuses on reputation management, issues and crisis communications for MSC Group’s Cruise Division, while also supporting on global corporate media relations and sustainability communications. We’re seeking a proactive, passionate communications expert to join our talented team with a proven track record in corporate media relations and experience at a European or global level. Thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced international organisation.

• Work with the team to help manage the company’s issues and crisis communications. Develop response materials for emerging issues and reputational threats, and implement response frameworks with local and global teams, and external agencies.

• Support the global corporate communications strategy by translating business goals into impactful corporate communications materials and approaches.

• Leverage your experience to integrate sustainability messaging into broader corporate communications, including securing key interviews and features with top-tier media.

• Coordinate with external corporate PR agencies to align teams on priorities and strategies, ensuring seamless execution globally and in key markets such as the UK, USA, Germany, France, and Switzerland.

• Cultivate relationships with key journalists and work with globally based PR teams and agencies to pitch and develop stories.

• Partner with key departments like Sales, Marketing, Sustainability to deliver high-value corporate communications.

• Craft and edit corporate press releases, talking points, presentations, scripts, briefing sheets, and other materials.

• Organise and oversee media-related events, including interviews, press conferences, and conferences.

• Develop and maintain metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the communications function.

• Fluent in English. French or other European languages are a plus.

• Confident communications professional with 5 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in hospitality or sustainability sectors.

• Reputation management expertise in agency and/or in-house roles, including crisis response.

• Experience managing business media with UK or European media preferred.

• Knowledge of sustainability communications is a bonus.

• Effective communicator with business media, senior executives, peers, and partners.

• Flexible and proactive, with a can-do attitude

• This role requires flexibility for business travel and out of hours issues & crisis support
