About the team you are joining

IATA’s Business Intelligence Services are the focal point and driving

force for aviation data management and BI services for the aviation industry.

The

team is comprised of aviation industry experts, data management and analytic

professionals as well as data scientists based in Montreal and Geneva.

The

Head, Aircraft, Environment and Operations Data will lead and manage a

portfolio of aviation BI tools leveraging IATA’s unique access to airline data

such as Turbulence Aware, CO2 CONNECT, MRO SmartHub, FuelIS & SafetyIS as

well as strategic projects such as the Schedule Data Exchange Program. This

role is accountable for all operational and commercial activities related to

this portfolio.

This role is part of

the Business Intelligence leadership team and reports to the BIS LOB Director.

What your day would be like

  • Lead a team of aviation BI experts responsible

for the product management and delivery of Turbulence Aware, MRO Smart Hub,

CO2 CONNECT, FuelIS & SafetyIS including quality, timeliness, customer

support, contract implementation and adherence to data release policies.

  • Accountable as the business owner for the

Schedule Data Exchange Program project.

  • Oversee the entire project

(solution development and airline engagement) from setup phase to

execution. Accountable for delivering program road map and ensuring that

the program objectives are achieved on time, on scope and on budget.

  • Critical member of the Avatar project steering committee by

the Consulting LOB and accountable for the BI module development of the

Avatar project.

  • Grow current portfolio to $5M in annual

revenue by 2028 without compromising the quality of the services and by

providing accurate and timely reporting.

  • Lead the product portfolio roadmap with input

from other IATA divisions such as I&D and OSS, input from users and in

collaboration with business partners.

  • Responsible for all the product management

activities including pricing, promotion, sales team support, user forums

and product enhancement.

  • Periodical review of vendors

and partners’ performance using KPIs and re-assessment of resource

planning. Provide solutions for continuous improvement.

We would love to hear from you if you have

  • Must

have solid aviation business expertise with 12+ years of middle to senior

level working experiences, ideally in the business intelligence or data

management field. M.Sc. or MBA in Management Information Systems or Aviation/Cargo business related degrees with data management certification is an asset.

  • Solid

experience in managing senior executive level relationships and able to

articulate and communicate at strategic and industry level.

  • Proven

experience working closely with business owners and subject matter experts

to document, design, develop, and deliver high-quality data and analytics

solutions.

  • Requires

solid knowledge of business planning, resource/financial planning and proven project management skills.

  • Outstanding

interpersonal communication: the ability to communicate complex issues in

a simple manner.

  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
