To replace one of our colleagues on maternity leave, we are looking for a Territory Manager to further develop the sales of our Vascular Closure device in the Berlin - Leipzig and Dresde area.
In close partnership with Clinical Specialists, you will be responsible for developing and achieving sales activities geared to company and regional targets.
You be responsible for the strategic sales of the assigned product lines through the regular and efficient utilization of selling skills, clinical product knowledge, and the evaluation and identification of sales opportunity priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Territory Management:
- Accountable for overall territory management, achievement of sales goals, profitability and account management within the assigned product lines.
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans by account to increase revenue and secure new business.
- Partner with cross-functional counterparts, especially with Clinical Specialists to effectively drive the adoption of our products and increase products usage.
- Prospect, qualify, close, develop and cultivate major accounts and product sales.
- Educate customers on products, concepts, & industry trends.
- Relationship Management:
- Prospect and develop multi-level relationships with prospective customers within key accounts and distributors.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships, grows and cultivates KOLs to leverage within the region.
- Product Development:
- Provide product feedback to Sales, Marketing and R&D including customer feedback on product enhancements, service and policies through direct feedback as well as evaluation and trial assessments and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer concerns through accurate and timely investigation developing solutions, implementing and executing solutions.
- Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Adheres to and follows Haemonetics policies and procedures and applies function related SOX requirements
Profile
- A highly developed business acumen and experience in targeting and prioritizing key customer accounts.
- A demonstrated strong work ethic coupled with a sense of urgency to accomplish objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to establish personal credibility in the targeted territory to create a forum for delivering our message to clinical staff, administrators, and physicians as well as overcoming obstacles.
- A thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and territory's customer base.
- Clear strategic thinker and tactical planner who exhibits flexibility, innovativeness and resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives both as a leader and as a player.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- An individual who brings a strong work ethic to the business and values Teamwork Team spirit and collaboration internally and externally with customers.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. Medical training (RN, cath lab technician, etc.) preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience, medical industry preferred with proven track records of overachieving sales targets
- Previous industry experience preferably in the Cardiovascular space calling on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff members.
- Previous experience with vessel closure is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long hours wearing heavy Cath Lab protective clothing.

- Travel required.
