One part of PRODUCT MANAGER / PRODUCT OWNER role at Wallee, is to focus on the payment (Collecting & Payment Facilitator) product strategy, end-to-end product definition, Profit & Loss and success of a product during its life cycle. The second focus area is support in story writing, refinement coordination, development planning, collaborating with stakeholders and guiding the development teams for a reliable estimation on Jira story level.
Key Functions
- Support and end-to-end implementation of the customer lifecycle strategy & portfolio
- Ownership of the onboarding and merchant portal lifecycle (customer lifecycle)
- Journey definition together with UX
- Go-to-Market concept & rollout
- Product operationalization (Documentation, Sales & Support training, contract, KPI definition and monitoring, etc.)
- End to end Requirements Engineering from customer onboarding to the customer portal incl. reporting and self-service
- Analysing and mapping existing and new business processes
- Stakeholder management (customers, partners users and internal teams)
- Support user story creation incl. acceptance criteria
- Solution review (functional process) before development
- Reviews and accepts the work completed by the development team, ensuring that it meets the defined acceptance criteria and delivers the expected value to customers
- Collaborate with colleagues Product Managers, PO’S/RE’s, Delivery Planning Manager, User Experience, Project Management, Customer Support and Sales
- Write the technical product documentation together with Development.

- Accept or reject work results based on acceptance criteria
- Reviews (definition and implementation)
- High level technical business solution consulting together with PM
- Technical product documentation
- English, (German of advantage)
- Experience in product management within the payment industry
- Strong customer oriented mindset
- In-depth knowledge of payment products
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification
- Experience as a Product manager and owner
- Experience with customer experience and user interface design
