On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive and self-motivated professional with expertise in Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to join a global healthcare leader in Bern, Switzerland. The role is critical for overseeing CAPEX projects, ensuring compliance with GMP and EHS standards, and fostering a culture of safety and collaboration.
Contract Details
- Start Date: 20.01.2025/ASAP
- Duration: Until 31.12.2025, with potential for extension
- Employment Type: Temporary contract via Randstad
- Location: Fully on-site in Bern, with flexibility for 3 days on-site per week after an initial period
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support CAPEX projects, ensuring compliance with EHS and engineering standards.
- Conduct and approve EHS risk assessments for construction and operational activities.
- Provide expert advice on hazards, risks, and control measures.
- Develop and implement EHS processes, procedures, and programs aligned with GMP and ISO standards.
- Mentor and train staff to improve EHS performance and foster a safety-first culture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and EHS performance.
Your Profile
- Languages: Fluent in German and English (mandatory).
- Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with additional qualifications in health and safety (e.g., Safety Engineer certification).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in EHS, engineering, or project management roles, including construction site supervision.
- Proven expertise in GMP environments and EHS management systems (ISO14001, ISO45001).
- Skills:
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
