Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

We are looking for a Senior Manager Talent Business Partner to lead and partner with executives who are building transformational solutions that underpin the K-C transformation and growth agenda.
As a senior HR leader, the purpose of your role is to continually evolve the business to win in the marketplace through our people, culture, processes, and systems. This is accomplished by focusing on talent, leadership, engagement, and effective change management. Attuned to the human aspects of the role, it is critical that you are a role model leader, talent development champion and the owner of culture transformation within the organization.
Responsible for executing the people strategy for the IPC Corporate Functions, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating within a global, matrix environment and delivering exceptional results. The Sr. Manager Talent Business Partner is expected to have a clear understanding of what needs to change to meet future business priorities (both planned and unplanned), as well as support leaders in navigating both the present and the future while having responsibility to determine behaviors, skills and capabilities needed to be successful. The ability to not only connect the dots but translate information and develop solutions that are relevant and sustainable within your organization is a must.
As a senior member of the Corporate Functions HR Team this role is vital to ensuring the global functional people strategies are brought to life within the IPC organization.

Strategic Partner - responsible for setting people strategies that build the next diverse generation of leaders and ensure the organization has the right capabilities and culture needed to deliver the strategic agenda.

Leader Partner and Coach: Executive Coach and 'truth broker' to Leaders creating awareness, generating action and increasing leader effectiveness by developing new perspectives, attitudes, skills and behaviours. Provide ongoing feedback and support a leader's development plan, brand awareness and effectiveness in leading their teams.

Talent Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the talent strategy for respective area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider business/functional/mill strategy. Lead the end-to-end talent cycle including critical role identification, HiPo management and succession planning.

Culture: Active steward of K-C Culture, strategic focus on strengthening company culture and employee experience through Performance Driven Leadership and Care = Performance; Performance = Care. Accelerate our Inclusion, Equity and Diversity vision.

Capabilities: Partner with leaders to identify organizational capability gaps to deliver on current and future strategies and recommend ways to build capabilities and close gaps through appropriate buy/build/borrow talent strategies, in partnership with People COEs.

Organizational Effectiveness: Identify and communicate the interventions and actions needed to implement the business/function/mill’s strategy and business plan; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals. Conduct appropriate organizational diagnosis and analysis and facilitate organizational design to drive business strategy. Asess team and leader effectiveness, identifying and implementing solutions to address opportunities in partnership with the talent management CoE.

Employee Engagement and Experience: Partner with leaders to drive continued employee engagement and aligned employee experience across K-C.

Change Management: Identify and manage stakeholders, understanding needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.

Employee Relations – escalated cases only. Propose solutions for complex and/or contentious Employee Relations cases in liaison with line managers and legal counsel.

Data Driven Influencing and Decision-Making: Investigate complex hypotheses, using a wide range of data & analytics to diagnose underlying causes of key business issues and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and/or improve business performance. Demonstrates strong storytelling and influence skills when presenting insights to leaders to drive decision-making and action-taking. Leverages key insights to shape and form business/functional/mill strategy that drives business outcomes.

Internal Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with internal client groups building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust through effective partnership. Partner and contract with CoEs to provide consultation on people programs to strengthen the organization, talent and culture and capabilities.

Experience: 10-12 years of experience in People (HR) with exposure to best practices in the area. Experience in coaching key business leaders and stakeholders and in managing relationships effectively. Multi-country/global perspective and experience in running global initiatives is required.

Expected travel is between 10-15%.
