How you can make a difference :

  • Responsible for maintaining the system architecture of the medical device in collaboration with the project team

  • define product requirements, identify system components, and define the interfaces between these components, considering patient safety, customer requirements, functionality, reliability, testability and costs

  • co-operate with the various hardware, electronic, embedded software development disciplines and their interfaces

  • Ensuring that the developed medical device meets the relevant regulatory requirements. This includes planning and providing advice on the implementation of integration and verification activities

  • Collaboration and coordination in the preparation of risk analyses according to ISO 14971. Identifying and evaluating risks together with the specialist departments and developing and implementing suitable risk mitigation measures

That's what you bring along :

  • Technical or scientific degree (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH or equivalent)

  • Several years of experience in the development of medical devices or in a regulated environment are expected, with several years of experience in software development being an advantage

  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements (MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601-1-1, IEC 62304, ...) and medical device development processes

  • Open and solution-oriented personality enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams.

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating and motivating teams (interface management)

  • Mindset for continuous improvement, actively initiate topics and get involved In ongoing activities

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German
