The Position

Through a category-centric approach, the Category Management teams provide in-depth knowledge of supply markets, its players and their capabilities. Based on these insights, long-term category strategies are developed in alignment with the Business and/or functional strategy for sustained value creation.
This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:

Translate the category strategy into concrete site projects driving value

Supporting the creation and implementation of Category Strategies
-
Supporting the creation of business cases to drive Sustainability, Costs and Supply Risks Projects and leading them cross-functionally

Supporting with analytics, market intelligence dashboards as fundamental part of the Category Strategy framework and development

Supporting Supplier Negotiations and Business Review Meetings

Maintaining the Category GSite and Sourcing Calendars up to date

Supporting the creation, execution and maintenance of request for proposals (RFPs) in context of the project pipeline and category strategies

You will be part of an international team with diverse backgrounds and skill sets

Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Mathematics, Economics or Engineering after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

You are a fast learner who is proactive and dynamic

You have very good communications skills, an independent and structured way of working, a passion for design and see yourself as a team player

You are willing to step out of your comfort zone but are also not shy to ask for help

You are comfortable working with the MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, while also being familiar with both Google Slides and Google Sheets. Experience with SAP is a plus, but not mandatory

You are confident working with numbers and analyzing data

You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international colleagues in person, via phone, video conference or email. German is appreciated but not required
Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 12 months.
Part-time employment is not possible.
If required, it is possible to write a thesis during the internship.
The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
