In particular, we would like to focus the internship period on helping to develop our framework for measuring transition. This internship will focus on identifying, assessing, and engaging with opportunities for transition in sustainability performance across key areas such as climate, nature, and human rights. Funding the future is a privilege: we use it wisely and responsibly.We employ over 6000 talented people worldwide operating in 38 different locations across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, close to the markets in which we invest and close to our clients.Schroders has developed under stable ownership for over 200 years and long-term thinking governs our approach to investing, building client relationships and growing our business.What you’ll do· Assist in developing our framework for identifying opportunities in transition and defining measurable outcomes.· Support the development of key measures of transition and sustainability performance.· Collaborate on sector-specific measures of change and improvement.· Research and analyse how improvements affect investment returns.· Help with examining key areas for individual sectors to identify important improvement areas.Key Areas of Focus· Analysing sustainability performance across six categories (e.g., climate, nature, human rights).· Mapping measurable outcomes to areas of transition and improving identified indicators (e.g., carbon emissions, index scores, third-party rankings).· Supporting the examination of logical and analytical approaches for prioritising improvements.· Engaging with stakeholders to develop and refine the transition measurement framework.The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need· Currently pursuing a degree in finance, economics, environmental studies, or a related field.· Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in sustainability and financial performance.· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.What you’ll be like· Curious and adaptive with the ability to learn quickly· Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively· Initiative· Great attention to details· Curious with a “can do” attitudeIf you are passionate about sustainability and interested in gaining valuable experience in the financial services industry, we encourage you to apply.Recruitment process1.
