We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager in charge of growing the sales pipeline for institutional client relationships. In the role, you will work closely with the Head of Sales to implement and drive strategic sales initiatives to achieve business goals. The starting date is as soon as possible at our office on the 24th floor of the Prime Tower in Zurich.
About the role
The team you will join is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, prospect conversion, and the growth and servicing of institutional and professional client relationships. Target clients are primarily banks and asset managers interested in establishing and growing their own digital asset offerings. Our services offered include digital asset trading, custody, and staking.
This role is focused specifically on identifying qualified leads for institutional client relationships to enhance Crypto Finance’s market position. Once leads are identified, the Senior Sales Manager collaborates internally and with prospects to establish a viable commercial proposition, laying the groundwork for a successful client onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Source and foster new qualified leads (i.e. financial institutions in the target geographies) and establish strong prospect business cases
- Employ a systematic sales process with CRM-guided pipeline and prospect management
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to convert leads and prospects into clients, prioritising efforts to anticipate and ensure appropriate responses to the institutions’ needs
- Contribute to the sales pipeline for digital asset services with a focus on custody, trading, and staking
- Activate and leverage your network with banks in Switzerland and the European Union
- Attend conferences and events internationally to strengthen Crypto Finance's market position and build a strong institutional network
- Further develop service offering by providing prospect feedback and market intelligence
- Collaborate with account management regarding opportunities in the existing client base, including cross-selling of services, marketing activities, and events
- Further develop and implement business and sales strategies
- Develop new sales channels, platforms, and partnership
- 3–5-year institutional sales track record in a bank, custodian, financial data company, or similar
- Extensive and proven client network in financial institutions, e.g., banks, custodians, and asset management firms in Switzerland and/or Europe
- Experienced in all aspects of relationship building for the institutional client segment
- Affinity for networking and building new commercial relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- ·Proclivity for attending/organising conferences, events, and roadshows
- A passion for blockchain technology and digital assets, specifically the crypto asset market
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and hands-on
- Highly proactive and outgoing personality - thrives in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a second European language a must (Spanish, French or German)
