Job Purpose
The HR Manager International Services will partner with people leaders and internal local and global HR enabling functions of our International Service in Germany and Spain to manage HR processes and drive key initiatives on a hands-on operational and tactical level. Through developing a deep understanding of the Straumann Business and employee needs in a highly matrix oriented organizational structure with high pace, and understanding the subsidiaries’ requirements, the position holder will build strong relationships to establish them as a trusted partner of teams, guiding them and provide HR expertise to enable sustained continued growth and transformation. The HR Manager receives support and works closely with HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, People Development, HRIS and Global HR Business Partners to leverage resources effectively, create impact and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Managing the operational and tactical transactions in SuccessFactors.
- Provide expert HR guidance and support to people managers on a range of HR topics, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
- Manage core processes and programs such as: compensation review, talent reviews, Talk Forward process, workforce planning, budgets, employee engagement surveys etc. to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Implement and facilitate Straumann Group Culture Journey, skills development, and leadership development programs.
- Partner with leadership to drive change, managing resistance, and fostering a positive, resilient and adaptive organizational culture.
- Champion the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company values.
- Implement cultural and digital transformation initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster collaboration, and elevate overall employee experience.
- Ensure compliance in all HR related policies & procedures and support internal and external audits.
- Proactively identify areas for necessary improvement, recommend and implement innovative HR solutions to address business challenges and evolving business needs.
- Point of contact of local Works Council and managing the relationship and requests.
- Actively participate in regional and global HR Project teams.
Requirements needed
- Bachelors Degree or relevant functional experience.
- 5+ years experience as HR Manager within multinational organizations supporting different geographies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels across different cultures.
- Proactive Problem-Solver with a structured, reliable and responsive working style.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution of HR agenda that contributes to employee retention and business success.
- Good balance of people orientation and analytical skills as well process-orientation.
- Digitally and data savvy with hands-on knowledge of SuccessFactors or other HR application.
- Fluent in English & German language; Spanish language skill is a plus.
- The position requires up to 20% national and international travel.
