Hitachi Energy Research, in close collaboration with business areas, is developing foundations for the next generation of Power Grids products. Located in the proximity of Zurich, the research center employs approximately 60 scientists from all over the world with cross-disciplinary expertise. In the Systems Integration and Physics Group we perform cutting-edge research, and look at various aspects of making the power system stronger, smarter and greener. We focus on the challenges and opportunities in enhancing grid flexibility and facilitating renewable energy proliferation. In this context, we offer an internship position which provides the opportunity of working on real-world projects in an international team of research scientists.
