The Position
As the Digital Content and Operations Lead you will be a key member of the Digital Content and Services team within BEX. You will be responsible for managing and supporting digital content delivery, services, and platform governance (e.g., Veeva, AEM, E-wizard). This includes designing services together with product owners, planning their rollout and implementation, designing scale up place, monitoring progress through related KPIs, and ensuring seamless service delivery across global, regional, and affiliate levels. You will also collaborate with other departments within Roche such as: Global Pharma Strategy, US, Pharma International, Product Development and Medical Affairs and other stakeholders while leading a service delivery team composed of internal and external resources. The role requires understanding and working with next-generation technology to optimize the end-to-end process
The Digital Content and Operations Lead role is part of the Business Excellence - IXO - Digital Execution team and focuses on managing specific areas within 'The Lab,' a hub for content management, production, campaign execution, and digital services. The Lab supports global and 140 different affiliates in delivering high-quality content efficiently and cost-effectively, and has approximately 480 members across 10+ locations.
The Opportunity

You understand, design, implement, scale, monitor, and optimize various digital services e.g. web, email, SEO, paid, Creative, medical copywriting, translation, etc

You develop and implement sustainable service standards to improve performance and enhance the Lab customer experience.

You continuously improve service models by collecting feedback, and identifying root causes to optimize services. Maximize budget utilization by introducing next-generation technologies e.g. GEN AI

You drive adoption of the Lab, optimizing costs and achieving OPEX savings.

You provide digital content best practices and monitor content KPIs at affiliate and disease area levels.

You analyze content-creation processes to optimize service delivery.

You act as a subject matter expert on Digital Asset Management (DAM), including design, workflow, metadata, governance, and tools.

You lead engagement with agency partners to embed DAM practices and behaviors.

You identify training needs, create and conduct trainings, and close knowledge gaps to ensure effective process adoption.

You partner with key stakeholders to align on content strategy, planning, and production.

You manage and resolve critical service incidents, ensuring effective communication and post-incident reviews.

You build and implement processes to ensure service continuity and team performance.

You coach and empower team members, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.

Proven experience within digital content management, operations, and service design and delivery.

Digital marketing experience, preferably in healthcare or consumer goods. Agency and consulting experience will be beneficial.

Passion for next-generation technology and its application within marketing and sales

Strong track record of partnering with multiple stakeholder groups and delivering high-quality content and services across geographies and cultures.

Expertise in Content Management tools like Veeva Vault PromoMats and other Digital Asset Management systems.

Bachelor's degree in business or a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
