Position Summary
Do you want to be part of our Maintenance Project Management Organization and make sure that the projects are running smoothly. You will have the chance to be involved in a variety of maintenance projects of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. With your hands-on mentality, you support the project in a proactive manner, finding the right balance between customer satisfaction and project performance.
Your mission
- Project coordination: working closely with the designated Project Manager and core teams to ensure contract compliance and manage changes and support the Operations Team regarding all technical project coordination and planning efforts, being responsible for short-term maintenance projects with reduced scope of work
- Scheduling: monitor and update project schedules (GANTT charts) to ensure milestones are met and projects progress on-time.
- Performance monitoring: assess project performance regarding general process, manhours budget, execute mitigation strategies, control additional work requests, coordinate warranty-cases.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports for customers and aviation authorities, and manage documentation required for aircraft release.
- Parts and Supply Chain: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to investigate parts pricing, track critical components, and ensure timely availability of necessary materials.
- Work Order Management: Open and manage work orders in SAP, ensuring proper allocation to cost centers and the issuance of job cards/work packages.
- OEM Coordination: Liaise with OEMs (Airbus, Boeing) for technical support and repairs.
- Quality and Safety: Apply and promote the company's quality and safety policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and human factors principles

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/aviation or equivalent experience
- Relevant work experience in a technical role in the aerospace industry with strong understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, regulatory framework, and planning/preparation.
- Extended experience with dealing with OEM technical support inquiries.
- Proficiency with MS Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Project), SAP and aircraft management systems (CMP, CAMP)
- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Self-motivated with strong customer focus and collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication skills, effective with all levels of an organization
- Results-drive with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
