The Process Engineer will design and implement systems and equipment procedures used in manufacturing facilities. Their main duties include evaluating, testing and monitoring equipment, updating current system processes, and conducting risk assessments. Process and automation improvements must satisfy requirements from EHSS, Quality, Business, and Upper Management.
Essential Job Functions:

Catalog, oversee, maintain, and verify all processes in the plant. Audit production for compliance and validate functionality and efficiency of each process.

Writing reports and documentation. Identify root causes in relevant nonconformance's including process design, mechanical integrity, human error, environmental

Provide detailed records of investigations when necessary for later reference.

Participate in the development of SOPs for day-to-day operations and testing procedures.

Participate in Job Safety Analysis for each task.

Analyzing and interpreting data

Use software to edit and create documents and drawings regarding current and new processes. Identify and update missing P&IDs for current processes using AutoCAD.

Participate in the testing, evaluate, modify and calibrate/configure instruments and other equipment.

Assist management in new construction and process upgrades.

Assist in new design construction

Assist shifts when major changes are being implemented, such as new process elements, new personnel, heavy workload, or major nonconformance corrections.

Contribute to the company training program by instruction and coordination when necessary.

Support the Management of Change Program

Working collaboratively with Engineers, Safety, Production, Maintenance, and I&E personne

Recommend corrective actions to mitigate immediate hazards, production shortfalls, and training deficiencies or any other root causes of nonconformance.
Qualifications & Experience:

Ability to motivate team and deal effectively with performance problems.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Must have good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to a participative work environment.

Excellent in Computer Proficiency. (MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook)
Specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
