Job Description Summary
Join BD as a Continuous Improvement Manager and drive process optimization across MMS Northern Europe!You will play a key role in shaping business decisions, strategy and future initiatives through expertise in process improvement, insights and analytics.
This a field based role and will require travel across the UK/I and Nordics in support of colleagues & customers as required including overnight travel to meetings, training courses and conferences outside of the region will be necessary from time to time. Estimated travel: 50-60%.

Our vision for Medication Management Solutions at BD
With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Drive standardisation and optimisation of insights across MMS Northern Europe
- Define and lead improvement initiatives by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of robust process improvement principles, methodologies and tools
- Establishing and improving commercial processes to improve reliability, increase simplicity and enable growth
- Build the capability and capacity across MMS Northern Europe to enable continuous improvement activities using operational excellence methodology through training, coaching, mentorship, and facilitation of tools and principles
- Ensure that all improvement efforts are aligned to business goals, are financially evaluated and provide value to the organization
- Understanding customers’ needs of the process and driving process improvements (focused on process optimization, cost reduction, customer experience and operational excellence). Supporting the need to provide a seamless, high quality customer experience throughout the commercial chain
- Provide thoughtful leadership and advice to MMS Northern Europe Hub leadership team on process improvement and in developing transformational business cases
- Contribute to the development of our commercial excellence strategy and priorities
About you
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement role.
- Expertise in insights and analytics to drive commercial excellence.
- Experience in meeting facilitation and presentation delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and influence across a matrix.
- Growth mindset, innovative thinking, and ability to provide constructive challenge.
- Results-driven, action-oriented, and flexible.
- Continuous improvement certification or demonstrable significant experience is desirable.
- Ability to evidence commercial and process excellence experience is desirable.
